Casey recently announced her big win from the awards show in Oklahoma City on Instagram. The event was also televised. Rislov and Pullen were honored to receive an award alongside industry names like author Craig Johnson and actor Lou Diamond Phillips. Their award was presented to them by Anita la Cava Swift (John Wayne's granddaughter) and country singer Finis Smith.
"The televised event was spectacular, sharing stories of art in many forms including writing, tv, film and music. All we know, is we have a fantastic list of what to watch, read and listen to next. Many one-of-a-kind artists were celebrated." said Rislov.
The awards are to recognize exceptional creative works in Western literature, music, TV and film.
